First of all, Congratulations on the upcoming wedding! We are so honoured that you have taken the time to visit our website. We would love to hear more about your event and the vision and inspiration you have for it!

Step One: Fill out the CONTACT US form:   Any information about colours, size of wedding, event date etc is entered on this form.  This helps us figure out if we are available for your wedding date and if we think we are a right fit.  We only take a limited amount of weddings per year. We will respond to your email within 48 hours. 

Step Two. Consultation:   All of our events and weddings start with a consultation. We feel consultations are important because this is when we will learn more about you, your wedding or event, your style and your vision. We encourage you to bring along swatches for your colour palette, pieces of fabric that may inspire you, photos ( Bring along a link to your Pinterest board), blogs or websites... whatever inspires you!  I do all consultations in my home studio and also have many pictures and albums as well to stir up some ideas and creativity. 

Step Three. The Proposal:  I will email you a custom proposal based on the options we looked at during our consultation.  This is the time for you to ask any questions or make any adjustments necessary.  Remember this is just a starting point and we can change whatever you like.  

Step Three. Contract Agreement and Deposit: Once we have agreed upon a pricing to fit your budget, we will send you our agreement. In order to secure your event date a  30%  non-refundable deposit is required. Once we receive the signed agreement along with your deposit, we will start to plan all of the details and bring your vision to your life.

Step Four.  Finalize:  Two weeks before your event, we will finalize all the details including final guest list numbers  and schedule for your event.  We will order in your flowers and supplies and things will start to take shape. 

Approximately 3-4 weeks before your event, we will work with you to finalize your invoice—this essentially means that you approve the final design and details that we have created together. This will enable us to place the orders for your event. Final payment is required two weeks prior to your event date.

Step Five. The Details - This is my favourite part.  Now that the plan is finalized I have everything I need to get to work on creating your floral pieces.  The week of the wedding your blooms start arriving and things start happening very quickly.  Purple Peony always delivers your personal flowers to your choice of location, typically where the bride is getting ready.  We also deliver and set up any ceremony or decor pieces that you've contracted us for on the day of your wedding to make sure everything is perfect when you get your first glimpse.  We know how hard you've worked to make sure your day is the best ever and it's our commitment that we will do whatever we can to make sure that it is.
